Across the Stream Now I See them Come

Across the stream now I see them come
As they bring machinery and gun
And rushing river of blood flows
Over the virgin homeland allure.

Across the stream now I see them come
No music, no dance, nor songs be heard
But plain, no sound and darkness to heed
While my people are yearning for peace.

Across the stream now I see them come
Before the head of Anahaw’s palm
Wold war peace with a dove flying above
Near here and there what we ask is this:
Innocence, peace and happy life!
